ABOUT TONIGHT'S FILM

This week’s film takes us far north into the cold. Directed by André Øvredal and released in 2010, it follows a group of friends who set out into the desolate Norwegian landscape. As they travel farther north, the terrain grows emptier, the nights longer, and certain absences become more noticeable than anything actually seen. What remains is an unsettling question: what is real, and what exists only in the mind?

ABOUT THE FILM CLUB

The FILM CLUB has been hosting film screenings inside the GARAGE for as long as the building has stood.

Every Wednesday, the group of film lovers transforms the concert hall into a veritable cinema and shows some of the very best (and sometimes rare) films from around the world.

The theme changes continuously, and this time it is all about Christmas! Or is it? Confused? Then attend the screening!The title of the event is only a hint about the day's movie, because we must not reveal the real one.

So prepare to be surprised, excited, provoked and enriched.THE FILM CLUB wants to invite both Danish-speaking and English-speaking city dwellers. Therefore the subtitles of the film screenings are always in English, just as THE FILM CLUB will initially give a short introduction in English.

As standard, we open the doors at 19.00 and begin the screening at 19.30.

Buy a beer/water or popcorn at the bar and settle into your seat.
