A Week of Walking: Georgia in Passing | Exhibition

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

This exhibition grew out of a week spent in Georgia, Tbilisi, Sighnaghi and Gori, where six young people followed their curiosity through city streets, quiet suburbs and crowded markets with their cameras. We did not set out to define a country or capture its essence only to pay attention to what unfolded around us.The photographs shown here are fragments: moments of daily life, faces we passed, places that made us pause, and the stray dogs who share the streets with everyone. They are not a complete portrait of Georgia, but an invitation to look with us, to wonder with us, and to stay curious about a country that welcomed us briefly with open arms and left a lasting impression. Alongside the photographs, a specially composed soundscape brings together voices, textures, and atmospheres that shaped our experience.Video material captured during the trip will also be presented, offering another layer of movement and context to the impressions we brought home.

We hope you will join us for an evening of open eyes, ears, and your curiosity.

The event has received funding from DUF - Dansk Ungdoms Fællesråd and Tuborgfonden
